The name of this character is Stabbydog. She's currently the only character that I am playing on Alliance side in World of Warcraft. After 3 days of grinding, I got her to max level this evening and got her into some gear that doesn't entirely suck. I also took her to the barber/transmogrifier and fixed her up so as not to look like a total dork.
While I was always jealous that the Alliance got these characters while the Horde got goblins, I was somewhat mollified when the Horde got the Vulpera (a race of playable dessert foxes) who are friggin' adorable.
Also, the Worgen looked a bit goofy, with their mouths pulled back in a permanent snarl. They cleaned up their models an expansion or so back, and now they are reasonably pretty.

I will likely never not prefer to play Horde over Alliance - everyone I know in the game is on the Horde side, and I kinda prefer the aesthetic of the Horde. That said, if they ever update the model in a future patch/expansion to give the Worgen tails then my resolve might waver a bit.

Date: 2022-01-04 02:01 pm (UTC)This character has actually skipped her way through most of the content of the game. When I first rolled her up, I used a previous skip to get her to the start of the Warlords of Draenor expansion. I took her through that, and then she sat neglected through all of Legion and Battle For Azeroth before I finally decided to use the skip I'd been sitting on.
On the plus side for her, by the time I got around to playing her, I had already cleared the content on my Horde-side priest, druid, and rogue, so I was pretty familiar with the various quests -- and she had flight available to her right from the start.
I'm debating what to do with her next. I want to get her covenant to full level, unlock Korthia, and get her at least one piece of legendary gear. Other than that, I'm not sure how much end-game content I'll be doing with her. Thanks to my feeding her some account-bound upgrade gear from my mains over on The Horde, she is actually geared enough to get into some pick-up groups for the first raid tier.
While I've never raided on an Alliance character, I suspect it would be an identical experience to raiding as Horde, save I'd be surrounded by Draenei, Night Elves, Humans and the like rather than by Blood Elves, Orcs, Trolls, and Tauren. My tentative plan is to just log over to her a couple of times a week to take her through the casual catch-up mechanics so that she goes into the next expansion with decent gear.
