plonqI just had my first shower1 since the accident. This is not to say that I have not been bathing - one can achieve a fair bit of cleanliness with just a wash cloth and a bit of soap - but this is the first time I've been able to step into the shower.
I took the advice of the guy who was getting treatment for a similar injury at the clinic the other day and wrapped the end of my foot in plastic wrap before stepping into the tub.
Never underestimate the therapeutic value of a long, hot shower.
