I don't know which was worse, being awakened at 4:30 in the morning by the sound of two cats vomiting, or searching around later in the morning and only being able to find one hairball...

Apparently you didn't search bare footed, you would have found that second one. :)

I would laugh, but I've found more than one hairball that way. When you own cats you learn not to walk barefoot in the dark.
