Date: 2006-11-09 02:24 pm (UTC)I hate intentionally misspelled words, because I keep seeing the evidence of it in kids - when a 12-year-old spells extreme "xtreme" or replaces all 's's with z's... and thinks they're correct. O.o
See, I use text speak occasionally, mostly because it strikes me as absolutely hilarious. What's not to love about "OHNOES" or "ZOMG?"
But it started out as me being sarcastic.
No one gets sarcasm over the internet. It's just impossible to get that very subtle voice inflection.
