Seniority

The new seniority list came out today and - though it no longer affects me - I have moved to the upper portion of the list.  That's not entirely unexpected, given that I have been working here for almost 20 years.

What a depressing landmark that is.

[Edit: When I say it's depressing, it's because this is not what I had envisioned for myself 20 years ago. I'm not doing badly, per se, but I have never felt that I lived up to my potential.]

I know. I often torture myself with the "what if?" scenario. You and I could have done much worse, on the other hand.
Good you kept your union dues up. I'm on the first page myself.
