Down the rabbit hole
Nov. 13th, 2014 08:18 pmWhile I freely admit that I spend a lot of time on-line, there is no single activity that holds me. I am not addicted to Twitter, or Facebook, or any of the traditional activities that sucks people into the act of twitching every time their phone vibrates.
Every once in awhile though, I find myself sucked down the rabbit hole. This happened to me last night as I was getting ready to head off to bed. I got into a nostalgic kick of watching old 80s videos for songs that I knew, but whose music videos I had never seen (Billy Idol's"To Be a Lover" and the like). Somewhere in the in the mix I got diverted onto a tangent and finally forced myself to head to bed when I found myself watching my fourth video in a row of a geek reviewing The Rollie.
