Jun. 13th, 2005 07:30 amWhen one of my co-workers came in today, he'd barely settled in his seat before he started bitching me out for something that happened last week. Apparently he's been angsting over it all weekend, but I needed a reminder to actually put it into context.
In a nutshell, here is what happened: we had a meeting with our boss on Friday afternoon. During the course of the meeting, he made a sweeping statement that was wrong and I called him on it.
He thinks that I was out of line to do that in front of our boss, and I agree. I should have been more diplomatic in how I addressed it in front of the boss. I can be a bit bullish and argumentative when I get on a roll, and that makes me more blunt than I mean to be sometimes. Being right doesn't mean that I have to be an ass about it.
