We may end up fostering a blind, sick cat  - assuming she even survives the night.

If she's a nice cat and integrates well we might even adopt her.  THAT should add some interesting challenges to our life.

RIP

Looks like we won't be bringing home another cat after all.  They found her half-drowned, sleeping face-down in her water dish this morning and decided that she was too far gone, so they euthanized her.  I suppose it's just as well.  Having fairly recently nursed one dying cat through her last days, I'm not sure if either of us was ready to face that again so soon.

I'm actually very unhappy about this, as I'd grown rather fond of this cat without ever actually meeting her.  I guess I'm just a sucker for the underdog undercat.
