A panhandler? In Winnipeg?!? Say it isn't so...!
Did I mention that it was 6:30 in the morning? This is the first one that I've encountered at that early hour, and if I'd had a quarter I'd have given it to him just to reward his work ethic (or avoidance-of-work ethic as the case may be).
I uploaded a few more weekend pictures last night. These links won't be valid forever, but I'll leave the photos up for a few weeks until I replace them with newer ones.

Meerkat
The meerkat picture was a bit blurry, even after I reduced it to 800x600 from the original, but it was such a nice pose that I didn't want to just scrap the picture, so I ran it through a bit of post-processing in PhotoImpact to produce that cool dabbled effect.
