It's like there's a contest from one host country to the next to see who can come up with the most hideous mascots.
What's next? Oh gawd... they're probably going to do a chibi thunderbird for Vancouver in 2010 - just watch.

At risk of sounding politically incorrect, they look like 'tards, IMO.
