We're apparently a third-world country with dangerous, unregulated and impure drugs which we dump on poor seniors across the border at a discount because we're just evil and callous like that.  This flow of cheap meds must be stopped for their safety.

This does not apply to flu vaccine, mind you, because there's a shortage of that so our vaccine is perfectly safe.

Lick me where it smells funny, GWB.  Wasn't it your old man who sold us the mouldy, expired anthrax vaccine during the Gulf War?  Maybe we can return the favour...

I still find it amazing that the USA would source half its flu vaccine from one plant in Liverpool, UK. The plant has of course been shut down because the vaccine was contaminated with "other bacteria". The fact that no one here is prepared to say which other bacteria leads me to suspect that some of it has already been used. Bloody government. But, at least they have the sense to spread their order between six suppliers.
