More frustrated than angry. In spite of shedding a couple of troublesome projects, I've had a couple more drop in my lap. Additionally, I'm trying to fix up a report that I wrote awhile back in one of our new systems. What should have taken a couple of hours has taken me the better part of the week, and I'm actually further behind now because I found out that some of the critical data definitions that were sent to me earlier this year are not just wrong, but completely out to lunch and I may have to spend a couple of days next week manually rebuilding tables. I've also run into a couple of walls with a brutally s-l-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-w network (which makes it sometimes take as much as 10 minutes to respond between mouse clicks) and some serious limitations in the environment that weren't there earlier.
... and then there was a bunch of other stuff. It was just one of those days where things began piling on and compounding as the day wore on.
It wasn't a Mac - t'was a Granny Smith I think. I didn't do much to the apple other than pick it up and squeeze it until I'd left deep finger depressions all around it. Now it feels like it was designed with a custom grip when I pick it up.
