I must be living in a plexiglass bubble or something because I can't believe that I didn't hear about this earlier. Apparently Lucas has remastered THX1138 and released it on DVD. He's also digitally enchanced it in places, and (so I've read) replaced some of the cut scenes from the original.

Check out the trailers.

For some reason this has always been one of my favourite movies. Back when I played more RPGs, the game Paranoia always made me think of this movie. The future has never looked so bleak (yet so bright and shiny at the same time).

You didn't miss it, it has only been in the stores since this past Tuesday.

It wasn't publicised that well though.

Hm. It gives me a Flash site with 5 quasi links on the side that just turn it into an unclickable Flash site. c.c
Also, never even heard of the movie. Oddness.

The flash is clickable, but it's a bit of an annoying exercise in finding the hot spots. Over toward the lower-right of the flash image are links that appear and disappear for stills, trailers, etc.

The movie is fairly low-budget, the pacing is low, and the dialogue is a bit clunky in places but it portrays a wonderfully dystopian future.
