My new job title is...

Senior Business Specialist

Gah.  Could they make it any more generic?  Isn't there usually something in the job title that gives a clue about what the person actually does?  This leads me to suspect that they don't actually know what I do on this job.

I suppose that's both good and bad.

Heh. My last position was technically "Engineering Specialist," which is just completely useless. I spend too damn much time explaining exactly what I did there in every interview; I really should just make up a more descriptive title and stick it on my resume.

Hmm... you're the oldest one on the job, and you specialize in... business? At least I had a more colourful self-named job at the Columbia Motel: 'freelance male chambermaid'. Had to drop the 'freelance' part when they finally fully hired me.

My title manages to be both generic and somewhat bizarre at the same time:

Business Scientist.

I'm pretty sure they know what I do, though. :>

My job title was

Project leader

Which is funny because I pretty much was at the bottom of the command chain, though at the end they did give me 2 projects
