I like taking night photographs, where you set up the camera on a tripod (or on the edge of a balcony in this case), hit the timer and see what comes out.

This one isn't quite as sharp as I'd have liked because the balcony was bouncing a bit as people walked around on it. There is something about the night that really drapes a city in mystery. I'll put it behind a cut tag in case it blows up any browsers out there.

Yeah. Cityscapes are one of my favourite kinds of scenery.

Awesome shot. Nice details brought out by the long exposure, like the
parked cars under the light, the headlight lines of traffic, and of course
the diffuse glow from below on the buildings.

This is taken from the balcony of Panda's condo. He's got a nice place just off Broadway, around the Carlton area.
