Out with the old, In with the new
May. 15th, 2014 04:00 pmI am going to miss these old doors the same way one misses a large, painful scab when it finally falls off.

Now we just need to repaint the rest of the garage.

I am tempted to get some decals that look like a spray paint tag to put on the doors to discourage the neighbourhood kids, though our alley does not seem to attract too much in the way of tags. There are a couple of new garages with pristine new doors down the block, and they all remain untouched.

Date: 2014-05-15 11:27 pm (UTC)Get 4 lengths of old rail and put them in the driveway gauged correctly with the tops even with the asphalt and lined up with the center of each doors.
Then get an artist to paint, using forced perspective, the rails headed into the doors with a F unit of your company headed out of each of the garages. :=3
Of course, I don't know how your other half will take this idea.
