Uh oh.

In the mean time, our weather has been doing this for the past couple of days:

One of the family traditions from
atara's childhood was Santa Lucia. I do not know how faithfully they followed it, but apparently they went as far as to make the traditional buns for it. At her cajoling, I decided to try my paw at making some of them for us. I mixed up the dough, but we both did the rolling and shaping. They came out just a shade dark on the bottom, but not outright burnt. I am quite pleased with the results - darned good for a first attempt, really.

And I learned that cats (or Merry and Belladonna anyway) like them too. Or, as I like to call this one, "What's yours is mine".
