I decided to designate myself as the local guinea pig and I installed SP2 yesterday.  So far so good.  The only thing that happened so far post-install is that our internet connection quit working this morning.  Coincidence, or conspiracy?

Given how unreliable our connection has been lately I'm leaning toward the former answer.

SP2 activates the Windows firewall by default, and limits the TCP/IP stack to 10 connections at once. Other than that, should work fine.

Limits the... WHA??????????
Doesn't that like fsck file sharing? I suppose that can be increased somewhere, no?

I'm so glad to be posting this from Linux ^__^

Yep, it kills BT dead. Luckily it's just a registry thing, can be reversed. :)

I haven't tried Bittorrent yet, but eMule is working just fine. I'll give Bittorrent a try later this evening and let you know how it works.
