plonqI don't follow the Academy Awards as a rule, but I had to peek at their website this morning to cop a quick look at the nominations. I was preparing to get all indignant about Keisha Castle-Hughes not getting a nomination, but there she was at the top of the list. I didn't see the performances of any of the other actresses in the nomination list, so I can't fairly judge the merits of each nomination, but I'd like to see this kid get the nod. Given her performance in Whale Rider I can't see that their performances could have been any better. Just my $.02 on the matter.
