A (moderately) important thing I learned today

MS Outlook will apparently not allow you to delete 8000+ messages in one shot, regardless of how little you actually need them.  Each time it varied the errors, first claiming that some of the messages were missing or already deleted, then claiming it was out of memory.  When I deleted them in chunks of a couple thousand at a time it worked. 

Note to self: delete this stuff more often.
