plonqI bought a half-dozen of these at Half Pints some time back and was sure I'd finished the last of them a couple of weeks ago. In that context, it was a pleasant surprised to reach into the bar fridge for what I assumed would be a Rickard's and found this instead. Finding a Rickard's white or blonde would not have been a bad thing, but finding a stray Smoktober was even nicer.
Some of the malt that went into this ale is smoked, giving it a unique and pleasant flavour reminiscent of one of a stout.

I think we need professional help.
