plonq | At least I don't have to pay for my Internets

My first mistake was arriving kind of early for the flight - partly because I wanted to ensure that I got a decent seat. The girl at the gate warned that the flight was a bit delayed. By the time I got through security they had pushed it back again. Been cooling my paws in the departure lounge for the last 2 hours now. Fortunately if it does not get delayed even longer then we should be boarding within the next 40 minutes.

The first thing I did when I got to the passenger lounge was stake out a good seat for myself and set up my notebook. (Ugh, some people with a noisy kid just showed up in the lounge. The plane hasn't even started boarding and she's already whining loudly.) Anyway, the next thing I did was look for free Internet. Right. The cheap bastards that run this airport charge you for their slow connection

Fortunately my Android works nicely as a modem when I tether it, so I've had decent (free) speeds all evening.

It sounds like our plan has almost arrived from Toronto. Apparently it was delayed for "mechanical reasons". That's always reassuring. I just overheard the girl at the boarding desk say something about fuelling, so it could be awhile yet...
