Portage & Main is the windiest intersection in Canada, and I daresay probably one of the windiest in the world. If the breeze that was churning up the dust today was happening a couple of months from now, it would have been driving wind chills in the -100F range. As it was, it helped to dry the sweat that was trying to form under my jacket as I neared the end of a brisk afternoon walk.

Yes, there is an underground ring with exits at each corner. I got lost in there a couple of times when I first moved here.
