Dad gave this to me when I was about 7. He'd found it on the Princess Patricia after it tied up to winter at the CP docks in Victoria. He found a number of oddities over the years that passengers had abandoned on the boat, including a very creepy pair of coconut heads. I hadn't thought of those in years, and recently they came up in a conversation with mom and I finally found out what happened to them; she threw them out when nobody was looking because my younger brother was terrified of them.

Can't say I blamed him.

Nothing fancy about this shot. 1/45th of a second at f/4.0. A little underexposed at that aperture and speed, but it allowed me to capture a bit more detail without shooting slow enough to risk blurring.

The twisting of the ropes/string/yarn gives it a weird pixelated appearance at first glance, before you realise that, no, it is actually a decent resolution.
