The food at East India Company is geared toward the lowest common denominator when it comes to Indian food. I don't mean that it is bad, because it is actually quite good, but it is also very inoffensive. It is a good place to take somebody when you are trying to introduce them to the cuisine.

Meat from four different groups (chicken, beef, lamb and turkey) and two vegetable dishes make one well-balanced meal.

Ooo now I'm hungry. The two veggie dishes are Palak Paneer and Navatran.. two of my favorite dishes... even if Navatran will blow any diet (it's made with cream and butter)

I always liked this place. We have one in Ottawa too ... but it's a bit far from me, so I don't get there much.
