plonqSalisbury House makes some of the greasiest, most unhealthful food available in this town, but they sure make a damned fine red velvet cake.
I am amused at the choice of songs that Winamp's random function chose for this entry, since Burton Cummings owns a portion of the restaurant chain. Based on the title, he must have written this song after checking out their menu.
If I could go back to lunchtime and retake this picture, I would use a late flash to fill the foreground. That, or I'd have moved around to the other side of the table for the shot so that the windows were behind me.
In any event, this was taken at 1/30th of a second, with an aperture of f/4.0. I had to sharpen it a bit because of the low(ish) aperture and slow shutter speed, but the only other change was the cute B&W conversion. No cropping or other tricks this time out.
