Some of the unionised staff on the other side of the partition wall from us came on shift about an hour ago and started talking animatedly about our company shares, and the market, and their various issues with money, cars and the like. That led to a brief discussion in IM with my co-worker the desk adjoining my partition.

(CW) [3:45 PM]:
Its kinda interesting listening to some of the tsr's talk about their money and plans and stuff

(ME) [3:46 PM]:
Ya. In a lot of ways I miss being a tsr. I don't mean this in a disparaging way, but at the time I had no idea just how uncomplicated my life was.

(CW) [3:46 PM]:
totally

(CW) [3:47 PM]:
come into work - do an adequate job - and leave
no cares

(CW) [3:47 PM]:
or worrys

(ME) [3:48 PM]:
Well, I wouldn't go that far, but I certainly didn't take my work home with me, physically or otherwise, the way I often do now.

I try to be Zen-like and check the job at the door on my way out, but in spite of myself I found myself stewing over things all evening and into the night yesterday.

(CW) [3:48 PM]:
I hear you.
