When cameras get narcissistic.


I've seen a lot of people take pictures of themselves in the mirror, and figured I would try the same - minus me.

6 second exposure at f3.3, ISO set at 100. Scene was lit with a single battery-powered dome light held to the right of, and slightly below the camera.

Used software to boost the exposure slightly, and colour-corrected it until the Nikon logo looked pretty close to a proper white. Cropped and sharpened the image. Looking at it now I think I sharpened it a bit too much - the camera has a slight, but visible halo around it from the mask. Note to self: in future try two-three passes with the sharpening set on low rather than once on a high setting.

Holy shit it's like in The Ring when there's the shot of the mirror straight-on but there's no reflection oh now I'm gonna be up all night with the lights on.
