I hate working when I am on vacation, but I also hate walking in to work on my first day back and finding my inbox overflowing (replete with dire warnings from IT that I have gone over my email limit. Horrors!) I decided that a compromise would be to sign in occasionally from home and check my email. It only takes a few minutes, and it lets me know what kind of ~~shit~~ ~~disaster~~ ~~firestorm~~ ~~apocalypse~~ stuff I will be walking into when I get back tomorrow.

There is also a certain satisfaction to be had in deleting over 1500 unread messages in a single shot.
