The new sign I put up on my desk early this week is starting to attract some attention. I printed it out on the laser printer, cut a slit in the paper (which I reinforced with Scotch tape) and then used paper clips to attach cut-out numbers at the slit.

Currently the sign reads:

Over 37 days
Since this number was last changed!

One co-worker stared at it for a long time before he said, "Wait, how can you ever change that number without the sign becoming self-contradictory?"

I put up my sign about 45 minutes or so, and so far people don't "get it".

Sad that I don't work with more intelligent people.

It's always fun breaking people's brains ;) I bought, for a job about 2 employers ago, one of those At Lunch signs that say "Back at" then has a set of clock hands.... yanno, the one where the clock hands are ACTUALLY connected to a clock mechanism. ;)
