plonq: (Happy Mood Too)
[personal profile] plonq
We picked up the new car on Thursday. Although the weather has not been warm enough to drive it around with the top down, that has not stopped us from activating the mechanism a dozen or so times. Either the novelty is going to wear off, or we are going to break it. I am hoping for neither, of course.

I really like the license plate in the first shot. :-D

When I first moved here you only needed a rear plate on your car, and I saw more than one person driving around with a happy face on their front plate.

I think all of us can agree that we want better weather so you can make real use of the convertible features!

The car blends in well with the snow. This is probably a good indication that you should keep the top up for now. Unless you enjoy frostbite.

Seriously, though, sharp looking car. :) How do you find the handling so far?

So far I'm liking the way this car handles. It's a bit top-heavy compared to the Probe, so it doesn't hug the road quite as tight, but you can still tell that it has sport suspension when you are driving it.

It has a bit more horsepower and torque than the Ford, and a somewhat smoother ride. Overall I am quite pleased with the handling, but we haven't driven it enough to put it through all of its paces yet.
