plonqPerhaps I am a little too easily amused, or maybe I am too prone to noticing small details that others (rightfully) ignore, but I was amused by what I saw on a carton of eggnog in our refrigerator this morning. I was pretty sure that we had bought it earlier in the week, but I scanned the expiry date as I was pouring myself a glass, and I noticed that it expires on, "Nov 7 19:25"
Wait... what? So let's just say it's in there for another week. It is the seventh of November, at twenty past seven in the evening and I suddenly have a craving for eggnog. Oh no! Better drink fast. Wait - is that central time? If that's eastern time then I could be pouring a toxic brew down my gullet instead of delicious eggnog. Does it expire half an hour sooner in Newfoundland?
