Fills a much-needed void.

I had a spit-take while I was brushing my teeth this evening. I was operating the toothbrush on automatic while my mind wandered ahead to what I was probably walking into at the office tomorrow. Since I am moderately capable of multi-tasking, I also amused myself by casually reading labels on things the open medicine cabinet as I brushed and pondered. All was well until I read the side of my toothpaste tube, where it boldly claimed that it "removes surface enamel".
It didn't register at first, but after about ten seconds, my brain suddenly pulled itself back from eight hours in the future to parse what it had just read. Wait... what? How can removing surface enamel be even remotely good for the teeth?
It's all good. Apparently it restores surface enamel, and I simply have a problem reading things at an oblique angle when I am distracted.
I keep fighting the urge to convert this one to b&w. I think it works well in black and white, but it would be a shame to lose the vivid colour of the sky.

Not sure why it has that white border down the left. I'll have to fix that later. If you are reading this and have no idea what border I am talking about then I have obviously already fixed it.

Date: 2007-10-15 03:22 pm (UTC)It's worth losing the expressiveness of colour to satisfy the artwankery of countless B&W photographs cluttering the net. GIVE IN TO THE DARK SIDE!
