Inevitable leftovers

plonqWe dined in a restaurant up in Gimli yesterday evening where the size of the portions transcended large into the realm of what the fuck?

atara's hamburger and chili fries were large, though in line with a couple of the local establishments here. She managed to finish the burger, but virtually all of the fries ended up in a take-home container for lunch later this week.
I ordered something that can be best described as the Greek answer to Salisbury steak. It was a large, spiced, fried meat patty (I'd estimate about 1/3 pound) with lots of garlic; I found 5 whole cloves in it, not counting the garlic that was minced into it. Since the dish came with a choice of salad and potato or rice, I opted for the Greek salad and lemon potato wedges. What I was expecting was a smallish side-salad and 3-4 potato wedges. What I got was a huge, dangerously-teetering mound of salad (enough for a meal by itself), and 2-3 potatoes worth of wedges.
Ya, I have leftovers.
