I swear that my mouse and keyboard must be hooked up to a productivity monitor. The moment I hit a breakthrough on a project and start making serious headway, it triggers a meeting reminder for something dreary and trivial that I am required to attend.

By the time I return here I will have lost my place, my momentum, and my motivation.

Sadly it became moot when I learned that they had canceled the meeting yesterday and notified everybody but me. >.<

"Hello? Hello? Mew?" There was naught in reply to his plaintive queries save the eerie, distant hiss of air from the building's environmental system. A tumbleweed rolled lazily past the row of empty chairs. "Um, I guess this means I'll be taking down the minutes then?"
