Foster cat

plonqThe foster cat is going back tomorrow. I popped in there for about half an hour after work today to visit and snap a few pictures (behind a cut). The last time she went back to the shelter, she went completely apeshit and started hissing, growling and lunging at anything that moved. I don't get it, as she is just the opposite while she's here. She's inquisitive, friendly (a total suck to be more accurate) and playful. She even gets on well with the other cats.
If she can't get past her inner psychosis, her time at the shelter might be very short. =(
The trick here was getting her to sit still long enough to get a picture without a flash. This cat definitely has a type "A" personality.
I wanted to get a picture of her being cute, so I tossed a little stuffed chick over into the corner of the room. She chased after it and was obligingly cute.
There was a hilarious thread up in the WoW Priest forum yesterday, and today it has been deleted. Apparently Blizzard has no sense of humour. On the one hand this was a nice break from the usual hand-wringing and angst that's been flooding the forum lately, but on a more frustrating note, it is annoying how the company seems to be brushing off almost all of the concerns being raised there. I know they can't be expected to listen and react to every complaint levelled in the forums, but at the same time, when that many people are echoing the same sentiment, it may be that we aren't just talking to hear our own voices.
It seems like a common theme in the priest forum is:
- healing priests are frustrated
- Blizzard won't do anything for us even though we're down on our knees begging
- our class representation is non-existent, non-communicative, not specced for healing, not helping us
So here is a new proposal. If you're going to give us nothing we can actually use, then give us nothing that we can actually use.

The casters utters words of encouragement to the target. This ability has no effect on the target and stacks with other abilities that do nothing.
Suggested uses:
tank: "omg noob I didn't get any heals"
priest: "sorry you went down hard couldn't heal you fast enough.. so I just threw out Power Word Nothing"
tank: "so I got PWN'ed?"
priest: "pretty much"
