On my way to work this morning I passed a 50-something gentleman having an animated argument with a half-eaten garlic sausage.  It is obvious that he was the one who had half-eaten it, since he had the rest of his lunch spread out in his lap at the time.  I didn't get close enough to hear what he was saying, but I could pick out his tone.  Apparently he did not like what it had to say in reply either, because he would hold it up to his ear to listen, and then get angry and start berating it again.

He didn't fit the usual profile of somebody that I'd expect to see arguing with a garlic sausage, so I suspect he may have been off his medication.

You have to watch out for those garlic sausages, though - they can be quite feisty. And don't get me started on chorizos...

"an animated argument a half-eaten garlic sausage"
Is that with or about?

Either way, how did you know it was garlic sausage?
