Of menus and such
Jul. 19th, 2006 09:20 amOne of the things that
atara and I do each weekend is plan out our dinner menus for the next week. While she often posts these menus to her journal, starting last Monday she began posting pictures of what we make each day. Not only does this save her 1000 words of typing every day, but sometimes the things we eat defy description.
Since I've shared in the eating of (and in some cases the preparation of) the items shown, I figured I'd do a summary of the last six entries.
From top-left to bottom-right.
Monday: Sloppy Joes with cut melons. This is an old standby for when we're feeling lazy.
Tuesday: Goulash. Another repeat. Easy and good.
Wednesday: Grilled chicken Cesar Salad. Perfect low-effort meal for hot days.
Thursday: Green ranch salad with shrimp, baby peas and red onion. This is a new one for us, but I think we'll be making it again.
Monday: Sauteed ranch chicken with tri-colour pasta. This one is another regular on our menu.
Tuesday: Al dente fettuccine with olive oil, red wine vinegar, Parmesan, basil and chopped tomatoes. Yum.

Did you spot the theme linking all of these meals? They're all fast and easy to prepare.
