Ugly is as ugly drives

I have grumped before about how the auto manufacturers are pissing all over each other in their efforts to build the ugliest car on the road.  When you look around you at some of the abominations on wheels, it's easy to forget sometimes that for some car companies, ugly came honestly.  It is too bad that Trabant has not been in business since 1991, because nothing on the road today could touch it for its shameless in-your-face homely.



It had a plastic, cotton-reinforced body for Christsake!  Suck on that, Aztec.

Does it make me a bad person to want one of these environmental nightmares on rubber?

Nothing can top the Aztek for pure "yuck" factor, not even the Trabant. The Trabant doesn't have two wings set in the back window of a vertical bit of glass like the Aztek. A Trabant doesn't have the "no angle that isn't 90 degrees" rule that dominates the Aztek.

And to top it off - you _can_ give away a Trabant.

I still think the AMC Gremlin tops both the Aztek and the Trabant
for homeliness :P
