The electorate have opted for change, but not much.  The voters have given Harper a "show me" minority government.  He gets one chance to prove to the people that he's not a scary, radical, bible-belt wingnut from Alberta.  If he wants to get in any of his more radical platform issues, he should probably act early rather than later, since it sounds like the Liberals will be going through a leadership change, and they'll be reluctant to force another election when they have no leader.

And now for the dumbest thing you'll likely read today.  The word "asinine" barely begins to describe this.

I wonder if he'll claim the 'will of the people' with only 35% of the popular vote. It's good, at the very least, the Conservatives won't be able to run over everyone and they will have to get quite a few people from outside their party to agree with them to get anything done.

Thank you. I'm rather pleased with the way it came out. I scoured the net looking for just the right snow leopard for the picture, then worked a bit of Photoshop magic with it to get it just how I liked.

I gotta laff at the sports thing. It's a game, but it's big buisness too. I remember all the times I was capped by BS headshots playing counter-strike, but nobody ever wrote an AP wire story about it...
