plonqA buddy from work is trying out for Canadian Idol. He got his picture in the front section of today's paper, posing with a couple of the other contestants. Everyone in the office has seen the picture, and everyone is talking about it.
This afternoon somebody wandered up, took a look at the picture and said, "Oh, that's where he is. He called in sick today.
D'oh. If you are going to call in sick, you generally don't want to be posing for newspaper pictures. Something about plausible deniability...
