Maybe it's just me

That is probably one of the reasons why I've always been partial to a story with a good anti-hero. Anti-heroes usually aren't flashy, or cocky, or swinging from masts with sword in one hand and a damsel under the other arm. They get in, do the job and get out. Sometimes they do it for all the wrong reasons, or do the right thing in spite of themselves. I see a bit of me in that.
We had a jar of butter chicken sauce in the cupboard, half a bag of frozen spinach, some frozen paneer cubes, and some freezer burnt naan. All I needed to pick up was a couple of chicken breasts and we had a workable dinner.
