Year In Pictures: 2010/07/10

Life is full of firsts. This might not look like much, but this is the first time either of us had ever sectioned a whole chicken for the grill; we have either bought them already in pieces, or grilled them whole.

There is something decidedly primal about tearing apart an animal carcass with your bare hands.

I dropped it on the grill, and brushed it with a citrus barbecue sauce near the end of its cooking time. I dare say it turned out very tasty.



If we weren't meant to eat chickens then IMO they wouldn't taste like chicken.
