It's not an unusual request: somebody who should know how to get this stuff for himself sends me a list of customer names and wants to know our internal ID codes for these customers.  No problem - that's pretty easy to do.  I'll just cut & paste the names into the EDI overview and... um.  WTF?  He sent the list as a GIF attachment!
