Know it or lose it?

What are they teaching in schools these days?  In a recent phone survey of American adults, only 1 in 1000 could name all five freedoms in the first amendment of the US constitution, but 22% could name all five family members of The Simpsons.

Conclusion: That Homer guy... what an actor!  He cracks me up.  D'oh!

(I challenge any one of my fellow Canucks to name even a single item in our Charter of rights - without using the word "notwithstanding".)
