To speak it is to invoke it.

Indeed.

This is like the time I was helping a friend work on a project, and at a critical time I said, "Well, we're in the clear now unless the power goes out..."

Cue power outage at that exact moment.  He blamed me ever after.

This time is similar, except that so far I'm the only one who has noticed, and I should be able to scrub the data before anybody notices and complains.  More annoying than serious.

Ignorance isn't always bliss.

I packed a big lunch today because I was fairly hungry this morning.

I nibbled on it over the course of the morning.

I am now not the least bit hungry.

I just learned that they are buying free pizzas for the office.

Alanis Morissette might call this ironic, but I just call it sucky.  Then again, I may be able to pull this off.  Where's my spoon...?
