Nov. 17th, 2004 03:48 pmBleah. I ran around like a chicken with its head cut off this afternoon getting everything ready for the road. I got done early enough that I had time for a quick nap before ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
atara got home from work. I set the alarm and then lay there, tossing and fidgeting while I sorted through mental checklists of things I was supposed to do today. Eventually I dozed off. I just got to that comatose state where the sleep starts to do you some good when the phone rang. If it had run five minutes earlier, or five minutes later I'd have been okay, but it jarred me out of slumber at the worst possible time. I tried to get back to sleep but even if I'd managed it, there wasn't enough time left for a quality nap.
Now I feel headachey and groggy and far worse than I had before I lay down for a nap. Bleah. I'm hoping that some coffee on the road will help. Driving through North Dakota sure won't help with the sleepiness issue. Speaking of getting on the road... I suppose I should put on some pants before we head out.
Anyway, this will be my last entry before we show up at MFF. See y'all there who's going there, otherwise I'll catch the rest of you fuzzy folk on our return (unless I can co-opt a computer at the con and post a live update).
