Nov. 1st, 2004 07:46 amWe had about 30 kids come by yesterday for handouts. We had planned for more, so toward the end were giving out large hands full of candy to each one.
We had a few that were smart enough to be afraid to come into our yard, and a few more who burst into tears once they did. Heh. What's the point of Halloween if you can't frighten a few kids into incontinence, though? I don't know if we traumatized them for life, but I have a hunch that a future therapist will be thanking us for his new Lexus.
The sad part is that we weren't really trying to scare them, but kids today are so sheltered that they have become wimps.
