It's not a big thing, but...
Oct. 22nd, 2004 07:51 amI was going to go into a rant this morning about the corporate thieves at Tim Horton's, but after doing some juggling and recalculating, I have finally figured out how they managed to sneak that extra cent into the cost of my coffee and muffin. It's only a penny, but it's still a penny to which they were not entitled. I did some quick math, and with their rather creative rounding, I estimate (rather conservatively) that they are netting themselves a cool $1000,000.00 a year in free money.
