A new game
Jul. 11th, 2004 09:52 pmYesterday afternoon we picked up some blank notecards and black pens, and last night we tried out a game called "1000 Blank White Cards"
When we first laid out the blank cards and pens on the table, a niggling voice in the back of my head said, "this can only end badly." Fortunately I was wrong, and we had a lot of fun. There was some haggling over the effect of ambiguous cards, and a number of group decisions concerning game rules, but it was thoroughly fun for all. In future we might agree on limits for some of the cards (no point value greater than 2500, no instant death cards, etc), or we might not. For every overpowered card that somebody created, somebody else created a counter-card for it, and in the end the game scores balanced out.
dronon, it's just a hunch, but I think that you would really like this game.
